The woods were lovely, dark and deep.

You haven’t lost yourself, maybe it’s just the motion blur.
Happy New years everyone! I figured that since I often get told that my self portraits never tend to look like me, I might as well embrace the fact that I’m as faceted as a year old orange, just, not nearly as moldy. Many new changes, many new faces?
My lovely friend and muse, Devynn.
Bokeh adds a lovely bit of urban whimsy in photos.
I got this lovely beaded, bordello headdress on an impulse buy with a friend of mine from the summer before last- Additional impulse buys from around that time also include: an old fashioned broomstick, a crystal crown/decorative candle holder, a red pleather dress with two industrial zippers up the back, and a pair of 5” black platform boots.
I regret none of these purchases. : )
Photo of the Day: Ever have one of those days where you just wake up and think, ‘Hm, today seems like a good day to mummify entirely in plastic wrap’? Well, these photos were taken a little while back on just such a day.
This was taken the summer before last. Two of my friends had surprised me with a visit and somehow within just a few minutes we had decided to go buy a few big bottles of cheap paint, scrounged up some big old canvas I had found earlier that week, filled some balloons with paint (mostly unsuccessfully), pinned them to the canvas, and got out a bebe gun. A mess and fun ensued.
Dressing my friend up as a mime for photos just seemed like the next logical step from there.
Side note- if you’re ever really stressed out, just throw paint at something. It’s very freeing.
So, about a fortnight ago I chopped off most of my hair- just over half a foot of it, at least. I want to take some fashion photos soon, but until then, who doesn’t like some simple gpoy, eh?
